In order to resolve integration difficulties as quickly as possible it is helpful to provide the following information where applicable:

  • Time and time zone when the API request or batch submission that failed took place
  • Routing number and user name involved
  • Name of the file that was submitted
  • Status of the routing number, test or live
  • IP address from which the request originated
  • URL to which the request was sent
  • HTTP request and response, both headers and body

Using this information, staff can likely diagnose most problems at a glance. Without it, diagnosis will take longer or may even be delayed until the above information is available.
